Yes! MuffleWash is fully dryer-safe. In fact, it excels in the dryer by preventing that "clunking" sound while your shoes tumble. Always use a low-heat or "air dry" setting to protect the glues in your sneakers.
We use a proprietary Auto-Locking Hidden Zipper. Once zipped, the pull-tab is tucked under a protective elastic sleeve, ensuring the bag never opens mid-cycle—a common fail point with generic mesh bags.
The bag is self-cleaning during your shoe wash! However, every 5-10 uses, we recommend running it through a cycle by itself to refresh the Chenille fibers.
We recommend using MuffleWash™ Enzyme-Active Sheets (our favorite!) or a mild liquid detergent. Avoid bleach, as it can weaken the shoe’s adhesive and the bag’s fibers over time.
For the deepest clean, yes. We recommend removing the laces and placing them inside the MuffleWash bag along with the shoes. This prevents tangling and allows the Chenille to scrub the tongue of the shoe more effectively.

We recommend washing shoes separately for hygiene reasons. However, if you are washing "clean" slippers, the MuffleWash bag can be tossed in with your towels or linens without issue.
